Duration: 13 Weeks (Travel Assignment)
Shift: Day Shift 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Schedule: 5x8s 40 Hours/Week Rotating Weekends & Holidays Required
Break Time: 2:30 PM 3:00 PM
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment at a leading acute care hospital in Falmouth Massachusetts. The CT Tech will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety optimal imaging outcomes and adherence to radiation protection standards.
The ideal candidate is highly skilled in CT imaging confident working independently and experienced in fast-paced hospital environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures with accuracy and technical proficiency
- Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment
- Select appropriate imaging protocols based on physician orders
- Position patients and use immobilization techniques when necessary
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images and review for accuracy
- Follow strict radiation safety and protection protocols
- Prepare verify and process imaging orders and documentation
- Provide clear explanations of procedures and support patient comfort
- Assist physicians and clinical staff during imaging and procedures
- Support administration of contrast media when required and permitted
- Maintain equipment functionality troubleshooting and basic calibration
- Follow infection control safety and hospital compliance standards
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics
- Participate in ongoing training and continuing education
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiography program
- Current ARRT certification
- Valid Massachusetts state radiation control license
- ARRT CT certification or equivalent CT credential required
- Minimum 3 years of Radiologic Technologist experience OR 1 year of recent CT experience (within last 5 years)
- Current BLS certification
- Strong understanding of CT protocols and radiation safety
- Effective communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior hospital-based CT experience
- Experience with contrast administration and patient monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills
- Comfortable working rotating weekends and holiday schedules
