Join Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to solutions that support global scientific discovery. As a Software Engineering Intern you will be part of developing applications that help our customers make the world healthier cleaner and safer.

You will work in a collaborative environment contributing to the design development and maintenance of software used in laboratory instruments cloud platforms and enterprise systems.

What will you do

Support the design development and testing of software applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including scientists engineers and business stakeholders
Contribute to maintaining and improving existing systems
Participate in agile development activities such as sprint planning and reviews
Document technical solutions and processes.

What will you need

Ongoing Bachelors studies in System Development Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java Python C# or JavaScript
Familiarity with web technologies (HTML5 CSS modern JavaScript frameworks)
Understanding of object-oriented design and basic software development principles
Interest in agile ways of working
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Motivation to learn and develop your skills
