My client is a well-established multi-disciplinary land development consultancy with offices across Auckland Waikato and the Bay of Plenty. With a team of 2025 experienced professionals who specialise exclusively in land development delivering practical high-quality outcomes for our clients.
Their qualified team brings together expertise across Land Surveying Civil Engineering and Resource Planning allowing them to provide an integrated service throughout the full development lifecycle.
Due to continued growth we are seeking a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor (LCS) to join the team in their Tauranga office.
The Role
You will be involved in a broad range of land development projects working closely with surveyors engineers and planners across our offices. The role offers a strong mix of technical work project ownership and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of cadastral and land development surveying projects
- Subdivisions and development surveys
- Land Use Consents and Plan Changes
- Site Surveys including:
- Topographical surveys
- Building set-outs
- Redefinition surveys
- Height-to-Boundary surveys
- Legalisation Surveys
- Preparation and management of Landonline datasets
- Collaboration with civil engineering and planning teams
About You
- Licensed Cadastral Surveyor in New Zealand (essential)
- Proven NZ land development experience
- Strong working knowledge of Landonline
- Experience with 12d Civil 3D and local surveying software and equipment
- Confident managing projects from start to finish
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
