Provides consultation histology and diagnostic services to promote discoveries that advance diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases located in the metropolitan Washington DC area is seeking a full-time ASCP certified Pathologists Assistant to manage human cases (Autopsy consults including Clinical Trials) and preclinical animal studies (GLP and non-GLP).

- Case tracking management
- Gross tissue dissection

Job Requirements
Successful candidates for the Pathologist Assistant:
- Candidate must have completed a Pathologists Assistant training program (NAACLS) or hold an MS degree in the biologic sciences with a background in gross tissue analysis.
- National Certification (ASCP) preferred.
- Hands-on laboratory experience required.
- Must be well organized and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must adhere to GLP CAP and SOP policies and procedures as applicable.
- Strong computer competence required (Microsoft Office) and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
