DUTIES:
Data Entry of paperwork into BHRS and CHS electronic healthrecord.
Notification of difficultiesencounteredin data collection and completeness of documentation.
ProcessBehavioralHealth surveys and incoming/outgoing transfers.
Responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of Behavioral Healthprogram assignment and master logs.
Ensure integrity of all counselingservicesdatabase and tracking systems including the collection and entry of language referral and various other statistics as required by the program.
Complete clearing processand schedule incoming referrals for variousBehavioralHealth programs.
Prepare and distribute reports asrequired.
Process and mail letters (PCP NOABD)
Receive log and monitor fulfillment of Request for Records
Make copies scanfileand distribute incomingfaxesas necessary.
Receiving and processing calls from other agencies.
Provide support toPsychiatristand schedule appointments asrequired.
VerifyMedi-Cal eligibility.
Audit charts and verify corrections.
Transport charts/mailas necessary.
Assistin providing training for newBehavioralHealth staff.
Process chart requests/maintaincharts on site.
Develops recommendsimplementsand updates program policies and procedures (as needed).
Provide Administrative support asrequired.
Contribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of one year of office experience.
Good organizational and communication skills (verbal/telephone/written).
Knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel.
Ability to work with a variety of people and situations.
Knowledge ofBHRSDatabase andClinic Trackersystema plus.
Ability to multi-task work independently andestablishpriorities.
Pass agency paid criminal justice screening including fingerprints.
Pass agency paid TB (Tuberculosis)screening.
Pass agency paid health screening and/or drug testing ifrequired.
Valid California Drivers License and proof of auto insurance coverage.
Pass agency paid MVR clearance with no more than 2 points - if you are under the age of 25 our insurance company will not allowanypoints.
REQUIREMENTS:
Represent the agency in a professional and competent manner.
Advocate for the best interests of the agency and clients we serve.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public co-workers clients supervisors and members of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds regardless of race color creed religion gender sexual orientation gender identity or expression national origin age ancestry political affiliation citizenship disability medical conditions marital status amnesty and military or veteran status.
Will promote and support a culturally and linguistically diverse workforce and be responsive to the population within our service area.
