Horticulture
The horticulture seasonal position maintains garden beds planters and hanging baskets consisting of annuals and perennials across the city. Maintenance includes weeding planting watering mulching and rototilling. Other duties of this position include grass cutting/edging of garden beds and parks and greenhouse operations.

Please note that the anticipated term of employment will be expected to run until November 8 2026.
Successful candidates will be expected to be available for the full duration of the employment term.
Additionally all seasonal employees must be available to attend mandatory training.
Candidate Requirements
- OSSD (or equivalent)
- Valid Class G Drivers License with an abstract acceptable to City guidelines
- Experience in landscaping horticulture greenhouse operations and other related work experience
Working Conditions
- Outdoors in all weather conditions

- Operating hand tools and small landscaping equipment mowers trimmers rototillers
Hours of Work
- 40 hours/week
- Shift work including weekdays weekends evenings and holidays
