Brewhouse Operations
- Producing quality beer efficiently accurately and safely according to recipe brew log specifications & SOPs
- Help develop and drive product innovation by working with the team on new beverage ideas
- Assist with developing and maintaining our barrel aged program
- Operating maintaining and cleaning all process equipment including brewhouse and cellar tanks
- Reporting tank analytics for gravity pH temperature pressure flavour development
- Hitting process and fermentation specifications
- Ensuring the brewery is cleaned & maintained to consumer facing standards
Packaging Operations
- Transferring/filtering & carbonating finished beer
- Checking pH gravity dissolved oxygen CO2
- Assist in operating canning line
- Keg cleaning & filling
- Hitting packaging specifications
- Waste Management & Cleaning which includes equipment and materials
Safety and General Operations
- Responsible for following WHMIS safety protocol
- Utilize a 5S approach to organizing and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace
- Operate Forklift pallet jack in safe manor
- Maintain all equipment to its best condition
- Able to bend stand lift climb and lift up to 25kg
Experience
- 5 years experience of experience in production brewing
- Experience in a Commercial and Craft Production Brewery is considered an asset
- Formal brewing experience is an asset
- Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of the brewing process and barrel aging
- Experience and understanding of various packaging systems
- Advanced knowledge of beer offerings (trends innovation ingredients etc.)
- Must be a team player and the drive to win as a team!
Salary - $65000 per year
