Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Internal Audit team in conducting audit engagements and operational reviews
- Support the preparation of audit working papers reports and documentation
- Conduct process studies and process walkthroughs
- Assist in identifying process improvements and internal control weaknesses
- Assist in preparation of periodic reports and dashboards
- Assist in developing and implementing AI and Continuous Auditing (CA) initiatives
- Participate in data collection and analysis activities
- Follow up on audit findings and implementation of recommendations
Person Specifications
- Undergraduate or recent graduate in Accounting Finance Business Administration Management or a related field
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka ACCA CIMA or CMA
- Prior audit experience in a reputed audit firm or the mercantile sector will be considered an added advantage
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of internal control concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity professionalism and attention to detail
- Willingness to handle multiple tasks and work towards meeting deadlines
