Database Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Database Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development and management with a passion for creating efficient and effective systems. The Database Developer will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining our companys databases as well as ensuring data integrity and security.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design develop and maintain databases for various business processes and applications

- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise

- Develop and implement data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions

- Create and maintain data dictionaries data models and data flow diagrams

- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate access controls and backup procedures

- Identify and recommend opportunities for database optimization and improvement

- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in database development and management

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or a related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in database development and management

- Proficient in SQL and database design principles

- Experience with ETL tools and processes

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and techniques

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Proven track record of successfully delivering database projects on time and within budget
