We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join a leading enterprise technology environment within the airline industry. This role is ideal for a highly skilled architect with deep expertise in enterprise-scale Java and Angular solutions cloud-native architecture and modern engineering practices.

The successful candidate will play a key role in defining enterprise architecture strategy guiding development teams and delivering scalable secure and resilient digital solutions supporting airline business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own solution architecture for enterprise applications built using Java and Angular.
• Design scalable secure maintainable and high-performing systems for airline business functions.
• Lead architecture discussions technical design reviews and technology selection initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership across backend and frontend engineering teams.
• Architect and guide the development of:
  • Microservices
  • APIs
  • Event-driven systems
  • Cloud-native applications
• Drive development of responsive and user-friendly Angular front-end applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional airline requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices across:
  • CI/CD
  • DevOps
  • Security
  • Observability
  • Performance optimization
• Improve application architecture for scalability resilience and availability.
• Mentor developers and technical leads on architecture principles design patterns and modern engineering practices.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support effort estimation technical roadmap planning and release governance activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Java
  • Spring Boot
  • Angular
  • REST APIs
  • Microservices architecture
• Experience designing enterprise-scale distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and observability tooling.
• Knowledge of security best practices and enterprise governance standards.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and architecture initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within airline travel transportation or other enterprise domains is highly advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure AWS or GCP.
• Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
