ISCs team of Manufacturing Recruiters is partnering with a thriving and well-established manufacturing organization in the Fort Wayne IN area is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is responsible for overseeing production scheduling procurement inventory management warehousing and distribution functions to ensure operational efficiency cost control and high service levels.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong analytical and operational expertise capable of driving continuous improvement initiatives while managing cross-functional teams and supplier relationships.

Supply Chain Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management Operations Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience managing at least 23 direct reports
- Commodity Purchasing Steel preferred
- Strong knowledge of production planning procurement inventory control and logistics
- Proven experience managing budgets in the $20M$25M range and driving cost savings initiatives
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and reporting tools
- Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
Supply Chain Manager - Preferred Qualifications / Wish List
- Bilingual (preferred)
- APICS CPIM or CSCP or ISM CPM/CPSM certification preferred
- Experience in Total Quality Six Sigma or similar environments

Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end supply chain operations (production procurement warehousing logistics)
Manage and develop team through coaching feedback and evaluations
Oversee budget track spending and drive cost reduction initiatives
Support financial goals through budgeting and variance analysis
Optimize inventory accuracy turns and reduce excess/obsolete stock
Implement SOPs and track key performance metrics
Develop supplier strategy negotiate contracts and maintain strong vendor relationships
