As our innovative business grows rapidly we are seeking a full-timeReceiverfor ourEdmontonlocation. This person will receive log and issue materials to the warehouse production or designated location.
Position:Full-Time Permanent
Schedule:Monday to Friday. Shift can be anytime between 6:00am - 2:30pm & 10:00am-6:30pm depending on business need.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Checks goods received from purchase orders.
Checks goods for damage and expiration dates.
Sorts counts and checks received items.
Maintains required clerical records.
Operates warehouse equipment as needed to move goods to storage areas and/ or designated locations.
Identify damaged packaging and/or possible cross contaminated products.
Perform returns.
Maintain and rotate the cooler and freezer per regulations
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Forklift and pallet jack experience required. License is an asset.
Must be ok working in colder/freezer environment (-18 degrees C).
Must have Class 5 License and clean drivers abstract.
Ability to follow directions standard procedures and respond to instructions.
Must have good computer skills.
Must be ok with frequent lifting pushing & pulling up to 65 lbs.
Ability to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
Must have ability to read write and communicate in English.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
