Business Ops Manager
Job Summary
The Sales Operations Team at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Business Operations Manager to build deliver and maintain complex products that delight our customers and raise our performance bar. Youll design fault-tolerant systems that run at massive scale as we continue to innovate best-in-class services and applications in the AWS Cloud.
Key job responsibilities
Acts as primary point of contact for assigned sales organizations to execute daily operational processes
Executes customer segmentation territory/account mapping models and account tiering frameworks based on industry size and revenue potential to define sales territories and optimize sales coverage with revenue opportunity
Partners with stakeholders to validate planning assumptions and determine optimal distribution of quota and resources across territories and segments resolving territory or account ownership disputes as needed
Manages revenue recognition processes and resolves attribution escalations to ensure accurate reporting
Maintains CRM and sales tools data quality to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting and provide visibility into key sales metrics to make business decisions
Supports regular business reviews delivers sales performance analysis on pipeline data quota attainment and forecast accuracy to identify potential opportunities/risks
Implements sales workflows and automation to streamline process and improve seller efficiency
Documents and implements standardized sales processes and metrics to support sales operational effectiveness
Supports sales tools training and adoption initiatives to improve utilization and seller productivity

- 7 years of sales operations or equivalent experience
- Experience developing efficient and scalable sales operations processes
- Experience collecting analyzing and utilizing data to drive process and system improvements
- Experience using English communication skills both written and verbal to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in a fast-paced high-tech company
- Experience in business analysis
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives IT and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
- Experience in program or engagement management leading other project managers to deliver a program with multiple and concurrent projects
- Masters degree or experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
- Knowledge of AWS or cloud computing
