Job Summary

About the role

As our part time Finance Support Officer you will provide high-quality and timely support to the day-to-day processing of Capital Health Networks (CHN) financial transactions. From sending outinvoices to reviewing funding sources your ability to complete critical financial tasks and streamline accounting processes will be key to support CHN to strengthen the health and wellbeing of the ACT community.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will also have an opportunity to contribute to CHN compliance with financial legal contractual and reporting responsibilities.

About the team

You will join the Finance and Procurement Team which sits within the broader Corporate Services Unit (CSU). CSU serves as a central point of expertise and support for the organisation bringing together a range of key operational as well as professional services including Office Coordination Communications Human Resources IT Risk and Quality and Executive Support.

The role will be ideal for an early career accountant or finance professional with strong skills in processing tools such as Excel and Xero coupled with hands-on experience in supporting financialsystems and procedures in a multi-program not-for -profit organisation. The successful candidate will bring high level attention to detail and accuracy to their work ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities effectively and experience working collaboratively across different teams.

Position salary: $36.21 per hour (approximately $71781 per annum prorata to full-time equivalent) plus superannuation

Employment type: Part time (up to 22.8 hours per week)
