Job Summary
Type of contract: B2B contract
Salary range: 125-160 PLN/H
What will you do
You will build and evolve high-performance backend services and APIs for modern large-scale digital platforms used by a global financial services client working hands-on in a collaborative international environment with a strong focus on reliability security and engineering quality.
Your tasks
- Design and develop backend services in Java
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs andmicroservices used at scale
- Collaborate with product managers architects and engineers to deliver new features
- Contribute to system design with focus on performance reliability and security
- Work in Agile delivery withCI/CD pipelines and DevOps ways of working
- Review code and write automated tests to ensure quality and maintainability
- Support applications in production and troubleshoot issues when needed
- Continuously improve code quality tooling and engineering practices
Requirements
- Commercial experience with Java 8 or 11 or 17
- Strong knowledge of Spring andSpring Boot
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs
- Hands-on experience withmicroservices architecture
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle
- Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Maven or Gradle
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps teams
- Very good English communication skills
- Openess to hybrid work 2 days a week from our client office (for candidates from Kraków) and 6 days per month for candidates based outside Kraków.

- Experience withDocker

- Experience withKafka or MQ or other event-driven messaging systems
- Experience in banking finance or other regulated environments
