Title Clerk

Location: Oakes KIA Olathe KS
Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday
Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour based off experience

About the Role

Oakes Auto Group is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk to join our dealership team. This role is responsible for processing vehicle titles registrations and supporting dealership accounting and compliance operations with accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is dependable process-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing deadlines and multiple transactions at once. Automotive dealership title experience is preferred.

What Youll Do

• Process titles registrations title transfers and lien paperwork for new and used vehicle sales

• Submit title documentation to DMV offices lenders and state agencies accurately and on time

• Verify customer information sales tax documentation and deal paperwork for accuracy and compliance

• Maintain organized title records and track outstanding title work

• Support wholesale title processing and inventory title management

• Resolve title discrepancies and missing documentation efficiently

• Communicate with customers lenders DMV offices and dealership staff professionally

• Maintain accurate accounting and transaction records

• Assist with additional accounting or administrative responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Valid drivers license with a clean or acceptable driving record

• Ability to pass a standard background check

• Strong reliability and consistent attendance

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems

• Ability to stay professional under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Previous dealership title accounting or automotive administrative experience preferred but not required
