Manufacturing Engineer

• Support Product Development Lifecycle Management (PDLM) subprojects by acting as a manufacturing point of contact for assigned technologies working under guidance from senior engineers.

• Provide input into manufacturing requirements production readiness and documentation to support smooth transitions from design to manufacturing.

• Assist in creating and maintaining quality control plans and work instructions in alignment with safety regulatory environmental and internal business standards.

• Support equipment installation and process rampup activities at the site helping ensure stable and compliant startup of manufacturing processes.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by applying basic lean manufacturing principles to improve quality efficiency and cost performance.

• You have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering Electronics Engineering Engineering Sciences Cost Engineering or an equivalent field.

• No prior experience required with a Bachelors degree OR you have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with vocational education in a manufacturing engineering environment.

• Your skills include have foundational knowledge of manufacturing processes quality systems environment health and safety (EHS) and product lifecycle management concepts as well as following defined procedures applying analytical thinking and escalating issues appropriately in a structured manufacturing environment.

• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

• You are an effective communicator with consolidated organizational skills as well as proven ability to contribute to project execution in a team environment.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.

This is an onsite role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Ontario California is $74000 to $117000

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills experience business needs geographical location and internal equity.

In addition other compensation such as an annual incentive bonus sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
