Banquet Server Part-Time
Introduction: The high-volume Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant which serves George Washingtons Estates visitors and the Washington Metropolitan area is currently seeking to fill Banquet Server positions. Compensation: The salary for this position is $2.13/hour plus gratuity. Average hourly wages typically range from $17.00 - $25.00/hour inclusive of tips.
Position Specific Responsibilities: - Coordination and implementation of food service for banquets and private events
- Responsible for guest/client relations
Minimum Qualifications: - 2 years of banquet server experience preferred
- Must be organized detail-oriented and flexible
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Must work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be a team player
- Must be able to work weekends and evenings
Work Environment: This role operates in a fast-paced dining environment with frequent interaction with guests and team members. Noise levels and activity levels may vary throughout the day. Physical Requirements (Essential Functions): - Ability to move continuously throughout the dining area
- Ability to carry food and beverage items
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
- Ability to move items weighing up to 25 pounds
