Spanish Teaching Role in an Independent Day School

An independent day school in Ipswich is seeking to appoint a Spanish Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from September. This is a full-time role within a school that values academic excellence cultural awareness and language learning.

About the Role

You will teach Spanish across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering lessons that develop students speaking listening reading and writing skills.

Students will build vocabulary improve grammatical accuracy and strengthen their confidence in written and spoken communication through engaging and structured lessons.

You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Spanish examinations supporting them in developing fluency analytical skills and exam technique.

You will work collaboratively within the Languages department to maintain high standards of teaching and assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish across KS3 KS4 and KS5

• Deliver engaging lessons focused on communication and language development

Desirable

• Experience teaching A-Level Spanish
