Pay Rate: $53-63/hr Location: United States
About the Role
Join a dynamic Administrative Applications Software Quality Assurance team as a QA Automation Engineer this role you will contribute to a high-profile initiative modernizing contract management systems for agency operations. You will leverage your expertise to design execute and maintain robust automated and manual testing frameworks using leading-edge technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Playwright or similar tools
- Execute manual and automated test cases ensuring comprehensive coverage
- Prioritize test scenarios and craft execution plans for both new and existing functionalities
- Track test case execution and maintain detailed documentation for all automated processes
- Establish and manage automated test schedules and generate actionable reports
- Identify log and track software defects using Jira
- Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities as needed
- Provide on-call support and troubleshoot test cases across development test UAT and production environments
- Collaborate closely within Agile/Scrum teams to support development and QA goals
Required Skills and Experience
- 10 years manual test script execution
- 8 years automated QA testing
- 8 years QA test script creation
- 8 years performance testing
- Proven experience creating and maintaining test documentation
- Experience supporting Agile environments
