Job Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend development using Java Spring Boot APIs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building robust scalable and high-performance applications along with a strong understanding of full stack development principles. This role is fully remote offering flexibility while collaborating with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability leveraging tools like Bruno or other testing frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback to maintain coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot debug and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements particularly in the insurance domain and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain thorough documentation of APIs modules and development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Proficiency in unit testing frameworks and Bruno or similar testing tools for backend development.
• Experience with front-end technologies (optional but beneficial) such as HTML CSS JavaScript or Angular/React.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.

Preferred/Desirable:

• Prior experience in the insurance domain or familiarity with insurance business processes.
• Knowledge of database design SQL and ORM frameworks (e.g. Hibernate).
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS Azure) or microservices architecture.
