Position Summary

The Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship Compliance Auditor (PWACA) will work remotely to ensure compliance with prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements for renewable energy projects.

This role involves auditing contractor data inputs verifying completeness and accuracy creating deficiency reports presenting findings to upper management and maintaining compliance dashboards. The PWACA will review payroll records to verify correct wages fringe benefit contributions and overall labor compliance according to project contracts and requirements.

Each project may have unique compliance requirements and the PWACA will be responsible for gathering project-specific requirements and coordinating with responsible stakeholders to ensure compliance obligations are fulfilled.

The PWACA will serve as the primary point of contact for prevailing wage labor compliance activities including certified payroll collection audit execution discrepancy research reporting and support activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit contractor data inputs related to prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance.
• Compare submitted data against project tax finance and contractual compliance criteria.
• Verify documentation for completeness correctness and regulatory compliance.
• Create reports identifying deficiencies and corrective action requirements for upper management.
• Input compliance data into dashboards and reporting tools on a weekly basis.
• Host meetings with upper management to present audit findings and compliance status updates.
• Review payroll records to confirm:
  • Correct wage payments
  • Fringe benefit contributions
  • Compliance with labor requirements and contractual obligations
• Gather certified payrolls and related compliance documentation.
• Execute detailed audits and discrepancy investigations.
• Compose reports of findings and corrective action recommendations.
• Perform discrepancy research and compliance support activities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for prevailing wage labor compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders regarding compliance documentation and issue resolution.

Preferred Background

• Bachelors degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll administration.
• Experience with Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship compliance preferred.
• Familiarity with Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) wage compliance requirements preferred.
• Experience with certified payroll processing and compliance auditing preferred.
• Experience using LPC Tracker software preferred.

Physical Requirements
