Summary:

• Perform aircraft electrical modifications wiring installation repairs and troubleshooting on electrical and environmental systems.

• Complete connector terminations wire routing sealing bonding tying and wire harness/cable assembly in accordance with engineering and process specifications.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings wiring diagrams technical orders retrofit requirements and work instructions.

• Perform operational testing inspections assembly installation and modification of aircraft electrical systems and wire bundles.

• Troubleshoot assembly and aircraft system malfunctions at organizational and depot maintenance levels.

• Utilize precision measuring tools and maintain compliance with safety quality hazardous energy Lock Out/Tag Out Tool Control and FOD procedures.

• Assist in training junior employees and support cross-functional teams including General Mechanics Structures and Avionics.

• Maintain schedules support rotating shifts/overtime and perform work onsite in San Antonio.

Requirements:

• 4 years of aircraft electrical modification wiring troubleshooting or electrical/electronic systems experience.

• Knowledge of electrical/electronic theories and aircraft systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings.

• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

• Ability to work in confined spaces on elevated platforms and lift up to 35 lbs.

• Ability to pass visual acuity/color perception testing and required training certifications.

• Experience handling hazardous materials and following safety procedures.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Depot Level/Modification maintenance.

• Experience operating forklifts mobile cranes and powered elevating equipment.
