Technical Designer HB Rentals

We are currently looking for aTechnical Designer to join our team inBroussard LA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives specifications for design and prepares initial drawing for review.
• Makes final sketch of proposed drawing checking dimension of parts materials to be used relation of one part to another and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
• Utilizes knowledge of various machines engineering practices mathematics building materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
• Makes any adjustments or changes necessary or desired.
• Inks in lines and letters on pencil drawings as required.
• Draws charts for representation of statistical data.
• Draws finished designs from sketches.
• Uses computer assisted drafting equipment software CAD and Solidworks.
• Ensures full awareness of and compliance with the requirements of all relevant company/customer HSE handbooks HSE procedures and emergency procedures.
• Performs any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum of five years experience in a related field preferred.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.

• Mastery of Microsoft Office AutoCAD Solidworks Inventor. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Project Management.

• Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
