As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Boston MA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post for a professional who values teamwork acts with integrity and brings an agile reliable and innovative approach to every shift.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including while serving in an armed post when assigned.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility entry points parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify credentials as required by site policies and report suspicious activity hazards and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support cash handling and other sensitive financial operations by maintaining a visible presence documenting observations and following post orders and incident reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A minimum of 5 years of security-related experience is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of industrial security-related experience or 2 years of military law enforcement EMT or fire department services experience is required.
• A law enforcement officer license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
