Were now looking for an experienced Flood Coast & Maritime (FCM) Team Leader to play a key role in the continued growth of our Chester team.

The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role combining people management with technical and project delivery responsibility.
Youll lead and develop our 2530 strong FCM team in Chester working closely with other discipline and team leaders across Binnies. Alongside team leadership youll remain actively involved in feeearning project delivery across FCERM and environmental programmes.
Our clients include Natural Resources Wales the Environment Agency and local authorities and your experience will help shape resilient infrastructure and naturebased solutions across the UK.
What Youll Be Doing
- Leading mentoring and developing the Chester FCM team
- Driving a positive inclusive and collaborative team culture
- Managing resources across a varied portfolio of projects
- Acting as Project Manager Project Director or Technical Lead on significant schemes
- Building and strengthening longterm client relationships
- Supporting business development and framework delivery
- Leading and contributing to bids from methodology through to resourcing and pricing
What Were Looking For
Youll be an established professional with a background in FCERM flood risk coastal or environmental programmes and a passion for developing people.
Youll ideally bring:
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g. CEng CEnv ChPP)
- Experience delivering consultancy projects or programmes (100k2m)
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative supportive approach
- Confidence working in a feeearning consultancy environment
- Excellent stakeholder client and communication skills
- A proactive organised and solutionsfocused mindset
- Ambition to grow your own career while supporting others to develop theirs
