Job Summary

Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Planning position supportsin Pearl City Hawaii by assisting with the quality assurance program. This role supports QA program development maintenance certification documentation control audit readiness training and qualification tracking package review and sustainment activities to help ensure maintenance and certification requirements are met and mission readiness is maintained
Key Responsibilities
- Support quality assurance program management for assigned systems equipment and projects
- Assist with developing planning coordinating monitoring and evaluating QA policies procedures methods and training
- Maintain track and monitor QA program requirements records qualifications and supporting documentation
- Support material control document control record retention audit surveillance and compliance activities
- Provide hands-on technical support maintenance assistance and troubleshooting as needed
- Assist with reviewing approving and tracking work packages to ensure completeness accuracy and compliance
- Verify required drawings procedures test documents inspection records and supporting evidence are included in work documentation
- Support internal and external audits inspections assessments and certification-related reviews
- Assist with QA training plans qualification tracking and required personnel training
- Support process improvement efforts by assisting with reviews fact-finding critiques and trend identification
- Coordinate with internal teams external organizations and applicable stakeholders to support QA requirements
- Travel as required to support inspections equipment transfers and operational requirements
Minimum Requirements.
Applicants must meet all minimum qualifications listed for this position to be considered. These requirements are established by the Government and are mandatory for contract performance. Candidates who do not meet every minimum requirement will not be eligible for consideration for this position
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with U.S. Navy submarines QA Program.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with U.S. Navy submarines or submersible platforms.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with submarine mechanical and electrical systems or components.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with supply chain or inventory management.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with NAVSEA 9290 requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus 10 years of related experience or BA/BS plus 4 years of related experience.
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- Prior military experience as QA Officer preferred.
