The Role

Entegris is currently seekingaNewProduct Introduction(NPI)Engineerto join ourOperationsteamat our San Luis Obispo California location.

TheNPI Engineeris responsible forpulling new products/processes from Developmentthrough release toManufacturing.In this role youwill build strong working relationships across the organization developing partnershipsto drive the successful scaleup of products/processes from Development to Manufacturingutilizinga Stage Gate Process. You will begiventasks to helpsolve technical problems related to manufacturing safety cost reduction qualityand product role report directly to the Global NPI Sr. Manager of GMC

WhatYoullDo

• Manage multiple NPI projects across afastpacedproduct portfoliousingtheAccolade Phase Gatetool.

• Work withE R&DOperations Manufacturing Engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturing readiness and successful product launches.

• Serve as the NPI liaison between Development Engineering and Operations driving products from development to release.

• Partner with Product Development to meet design manufacturing andphasegatecommitments.

• Develop and execute project plans including equipmentselection capacity planning cost reduction and waste management.

• Prepare process documentation and support qualification builds and product launches.

• Support global product/process transfers and intercompany coordination.

• Influence product and process design to ensure safehighquality manufacturable solutions throughcrossfunctionalcollaboration.

• Assistwith audits and continuous improvement efforts focused on safety quality cost and efficiency.

• Maintain a safe compliant work environment.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

WhatWeSeek

• Independentselfmotivatedcontributor who thrives in a collaborative team environment.

• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment (preferred).

• Familiarity with UHP gas purification systems (a plus).

• Strong communication documentation and technical writing skills in English.

• Experience with SAP ERP (BOMsroutings and documentation).

• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.

• Experience working in a globalcrosssiteenvironment.

• Strong technicalproblemsolvingskills (e.g. welding fabrication testingelectromechanicalsystems).

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement methodologies.

• Familiarity withphasegatedevelopment processes (e.g. Accolade).

• Bachelors degree intechnicaldiscipline (e.g. Mechanical Engineering).

• 2 years of relevanthandsonexperience preferred.
