The position pays $17.04/hour depending on experience.
Role Description:
SRI Telecom is in search of an OSP Construction Coordinator with strong data management and project coordination experience to support Outside Plant (OSP) construction projects. The ideal candidate will have robust project management skills and will coordinate all aspects of data tracking financial validation and task management across multiple workflow tools. This position requires a high level of attention to detail strong communication collaboration task-driven mindset proficiency with computers and self-motivation to ensure project data integrity and accuracy.
Key Tasks:
- Utilize multiple workflow tools to manage and track OSP construction projects.
- Receive and process requests from boundary partners across the U.S. for construction-related tasks.
- Analyze individual construction projects and validate market specifics ensuring accurate financial tracking.
- Generate and assign construction projects within various workflow tools ensuring proper task delegation.
- Ensure data consistency across multiple platforms including Oracle financial databases.
- Maintain and update construction project databases and spreadsheets to ensure data accuracy.
- Create capital project numbers for financial tracking based on approved construction naming standards.
- Assist the construction team with assigned tasks and support project coordination.
- Develop and enforce effective data naming conventions for efficient retrieval and reporting.
- Respond to inquiries resolve requests and provide professional customer service to stakeholders.
- Organize daily tasks efficiently to maximize productivity and meet deadlines.
- Work closely with finance teams to ensure timely capital project openings and closures for accurate budget forecasting and spending reports.
- Identify variances between budgeted and actual expenses for individual construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with all required regulations specifications and standards set by the company and government agencies.
- May enter data into proprietary systems to track serviceability node splits and homes passed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Responsibilities:
- Project management skills and ability to manage high volumes of tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables advanced formulas and macros) and Outlook.
- Strong cross-functional team coordination skills and ability to drive tasks to completion.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate across teams.
- Self-starter capable of working independently after proper training.
- Ability to learn and navigate proprietary software and workflow tools.
- Outside Plant experience is beneficial but not required.
- Experience in telecommunications industry is a plus.
- Six Sigma White Belt or higher (Yellow Green Black preferred).
