About your role This is a challenging opportunity for data professionals who are able to understand the requirements for Data and Analytics and work with the product owners and analysts in the team to develop and implement solutions for data sourcing. Working as a practitioner engineer in the data landscape you will need to utilise your experience to assist with the engineering aspects designunderstanding of data management and design including but not limited to ETL architecture database technologies data quality and performance management while demonstrating a keenness to master suggest and work with different technologies and toolsets. The role would also involve intensive interaction with the business and other systems groups so good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are absolute mus security scripts monitoring tools and other related use cases. Having strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured data sets. Proficiency in Snowflake SnapLogic Python Unix and related technologies used in the project. Strong understanding of data processing principles and best practices. Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead a team is preferred. Expertise on CI CD pipelines and with DevOps tools like Jenkins and Ansible. Knowledge in cloud based technologies will be an added advantage. Configuration management tools GitHub. Good communication skills. Good analysis and problem resolution skills. Team player with flexible positive and realistic attitude. Self motivated self starter team skills Knowledge and practical experience building applications using Amazon Web Services AWS or other public cloud platforms like GCP or Azure. Knowledge of AWS and its various services primarily EC2 VPC IAM serverless offerings RDS Route53 and CloudFront. Learnability ability to collectively push the boundary and pioneer the adoption and industrialisation of emerging data technologies in the organisation. Passion for growing your skills and tackling challenging problems. Self motivated to rapidly pick new skills work directly with senior technologists and fellow technology teams in a cordial environment. Fungibility ability to flex in different roles as per project demand and willingness to move to new roles. Ready to give and receive feedback in a candid way.
