Job Summary

Position

Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is currently accepting applications for a Environmental Laboratory Analystposition. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

5/20/26 6/20/26 (Final)

Environmental Laboratory Analystis the experienced working level in the series. Incumbents work under general supervision and carry out a variety of assignments involving the conduct and recording of a variety of routine laboratory tests following standardized procedures and within prescribed times.

Minimum Qualifications:

One year of progressively responsible laboratory experience performing tests in chemical bacteriological or public health.

AND

Twenty-four (24) semester hours in college or university laboratory courses such as chemistry physics biology or bacteriology.

Note: Any combination of training and experience which would provide the required knowledge and ability is qualifying.
