Landscape Designer - Fort Lauderdale

We are seeking a creative and motivated Landscape Designerto support the development of design concepts and visual presentations for a variety of projects including municipal commercial and public spaces. This role works closely with licensed Landscape Architects and project teams to bring ideas to life through renderings plans and graphics that balance aesthetics functionality and environmental considerations. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to grow within a collaborative design-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual designs sketches and visualizations to support project proposals
- Produce high-quality renderings presentation boards and graphics to communicate design intent
- Collaborate with Landscape Architects planners and multidisciplinary teams to refine designs
- Assist with layout plans and drafting using AutoCAD or similar tools
- Research and recommend plant materials hardscape elements and site features
- Incorporate feedback from project teams clients and regulatory agencies into design revisions
- Support client presentations and participate in project discussions as needed
- Occasionally assist with site visits to gather information and support project coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture (Masters preferred)
- 1 years of professional experience in landscape design or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
- Familiarity with SketchUp Lumion or other 3D visualization tools
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign)
- Strong graphic visualization and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and grow
Work Environment & Schedule
- In-office for the first six (6) months; hybrid work arrangement available thereafter
- Primarily office/studio-based work with occasional field/site visits
- Moderate travel for site visits meetings or project support
