This role is ideal for a hands-on operational leader who thrives on managing high-volume workflows improving processes and driving cross-functional alignment between Sales Customer Service Warehousing and Logistics.
You bring strong leadership capability ERP expertise (preferably SAP) and the ability to execute with precision while continuously improving operational efficiency and customer experience.

Position Overview
The Internal Sales Manager is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing order management ERP system integrity and logistics coordination to ensure seamless execution from order entry through delivery.
This position serves as a critical link between Sales Customer Service Warehousing and Logistics driving process efficiency data accuracy and service excellence. The role requires a strong operational leader who can manage complex workflows lead teams and support ongoing system and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management & Sales Support
- Own the full lifecycle of customer orders from entry through fulfillment
- Ensure accuracy of pricing inventory allocation and shipping details
- Coordinate with warehouse teams on order processing and execution
- Partner with Sales to prioritize orders and resolve issues
Truck Scheduling & Dispatch
- Manage daily inbound and outbound shipment scheduling
- Coordinate delivery appointments dock assignments and loading timelines
- Optimize routing and transportation utilization
- Align shipment volumes with warehouse labor planning
Logistics Coordination
- Serve as primary liaison with carriers and third-party logistics providers
- Monitor shipments and proactively address delays or disruptions
- Ensure compliance with shipping documentation and requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve freight efficiency and reduce costs
System Ownership & Data Integrity
- Maintain ERP and WMS data accuracy and reporting reliability
- Standardize processes for order entry scheduling and logistics coordination
- Partner with IT to support system enhancements and automation
- Ensure visibility into order status and inventory allocation
Customer Communication
- Act as escalation point for customer inquiries and issue resolution
- Provide proactive updates on order status and delivery timing
- Drive a high level of customer satisfaction through responsiveness
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Lead and develop order entry and logistics coordination teams
- Establish and monitor KPIs (order accuracy on-time delivery efficiency)
- Identify process gaps and implement improvement initiatives
- Foster accountability collaboration and operational excellence
Education / Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Logistics or related field preferred
- 5 years of experience in order management logistics or sales support within manufacturing/distribution
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and WMS platforms
- Strong understanding of transportation dispatch and warehouse operations
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactional workflows
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Experience working cross-functionally across Sales Operations and Logistics
- Experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment preferred
