Location: Blidworth Mansfield
Salary: 13.00 per hour benefits
Hours: Part time (20 hours per week) or Bank (flexible)
Shifts: Between 9:00am 6:00pm
About the Role
We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to join our friendly team supporting two brothers with learning disabilities in their own home within the community in Blidworth.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide person-centred support that promotes independence choice and dignity helping them live fulfilling and active lives.
What Youll Be Doing
- Supporting with daily living tasks and routines
- Encouraging independence and social inclusion
- Assisting with activities at home and within the community
- Providing a small amount of personal care including support with getting in and out of the shower
- Building positive trusting relationships
About You
- A compassionate and patient approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable providing personal care where required
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Previous experience in care/support is desirable but not essential we provide full training
