What Youll Be Doing

  • Monitor and control plant operations using computerized systems to ensure safe efficient and high quality production
  • Adjust process controls and respond promptly to alarms or operating changes to maintain product quality and stability
  • Meet production targets while upholding all safety quality and operational standards
  • Communicate and coordinate with field personnel to manage production activities troubleshoot issues and optimize plant performance
  • Perform routine system checks document operating data report equipment or process concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives

What Are We Looking For

  • Ability to operate monitor and adjust computerized control systems with a strong focus on safety quality and operational reliability
  • High attention to detail and situational awareness in fast paced environments with the ability to accurately interpret operational data
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to make timely informed decisions in real time
  • Clear and effective communication skills to coordinate with plant operations and maintenance teams
  • Ability to learn plant processes equipment and operating procedures supported by one year post secondary education and preference for prior centralized control room experience

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post off er pre employment physical examination and background check.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level.
