Job Summary
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician Bank on a full-time permanent basis with our Corporate Accounting team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon Saskatchewan.
If you take pride in accuracy have great attention to detail strong reconciliation skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment this opportunity is for you. Previous bank reconciliation experience is an asset.
What youll do:
Process daily banking transactions including Direct Cheque and EFT files and resolve any issues with the bank as they arise.
Monitor and reconcile bank accounts daily ensuring balances are accurate and discrepancies are investigated and resolved in collaboration with Finance.
Prepare monthly reconciliations for 20 bank accounts complete journal entries and support external audit requirements.
Contribute to financial system projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Other duties as required.

The Team: Youll join a dedicated accounting team reporting to the Manager Corporate Accounting and working closely with colleagues across Finance and other departments to resolve discrepancies ensure daily reconciliations are balanced and maintain accurate financial records. The team values precision accountability and collaboration fostering an environment where attention to detail and proactive communication are key to success.

Who you are:

- Have a high school diploma four progressive accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution and a minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience.
