Oakland Family Medicine part of the Primary Care Department at MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our well established high volume outpatient practice conveniently located off I-95 in Oakland Maine. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice full spectrum family medicine in a collaborative patient centered environment.
Our incredible team provides comprehensive care across the lifespan including pediatrics adult medicine gynecology and geriatrics. Physicians may also incorporate a variety of procedural interests such as osteopathic manipulation sports medicine minor surgery and acupuncture though these are optional. The ability to provide medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder is available for those interested.
You will join a supportive multidisciplinary team that includes physicians advanced practice practitioners an on site PMHNP care management and counseling services.
Work 32 hours clinically with a dedicated 8 hour administrative day
On call responsibility is shared with another practice and managed by phone only.
Provide full spectrum outpatient family medicine across all ages
Deliver high quality evidence based care in a team oriented environment
Collaborate with behavioral health care management and other colleagues
Qualified candidates must:
be a board certified or board eligible Family Medicine Physician
have a strong commitment to compassionate patient centered care
be eager to work in a collaborative team based primary care practice
be open to practicing a broad scope of family medicine
