Corporate Finance Manager

As we continue to advance this nationally significant project we are seeking a strategic and solutions-focused Corporate Finance Manager to lead and shape our corporate finance treasury and project funding activities.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional who thrives on managing complex financial structures driving strategic financial decision-making and ensuring robust financial governance is embedded into project and corporate planning.

Your Role

As Corporate Finance Manager you will lead Marinus Links corporate finance treasury and funding activities ensuring strong financial governance and disciplined capital management across the project lifecycle. You will play a critical role in maintaining the project financial model managing funding arrangements and supporting strategic financial decision-making for a major infrastructure program.

You will provide clarity and confidence to executive leadership the Board financiers and key stakeholders through high-quality financial analysis reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy Lead the development and implementation of corporate finance strategies aligned to organisational and project objectives including capital structuring and financial risk management.

Treasury & Funding Management Oversee day-to-day treasury operations including drawdowns cash management interest calculations payment processes and compliance with syndicated facilities.

Financial Modelling & Analysis Maintain and enhance the project financial model post regulatory and investment decisions including Stage 2 modelling and scenario analysis to support decision-making.

Risk Hedging & Compliance Implement the Financial Risk Management Strategy including hedging programs and manage compliance obligations under financing agreements covenants waivers and reporting requirements.

Stakeholder & Governance Reporting Prepare and deliver high-quality financial and commercial reporting for internal governance forums the Board financiers insurers and external stakeholders.

Advisory & Transaction Support Support corporate structuring financing arrangements and investment decisions working closely with internal teams and external advisors including tax legal accounting and financial specialists.

Insurance & Risk Coordination Collaborate with brokers insurers and reinsurers to manage insurance arrangements and claims processes.

Cross-Functional Leadership Contribute to a high-performing finance function by working collaboratively across teams and managing external service providers to deliver key financial outcomes.

Youll Need

You are a commercially astute and detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in complex project-driven environments and is confident operating with autonomy. You bring strong technical capability combined with the ability to translate financial data into clear strategic insights.

Youll bring:

Corporate Finance & Treasury Expertise Demonstrated experience in corporate or commercial finance including treasury operations funding arrangements or major infrastructure/project finance environments.

Financial Modelling Capability Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with experience building or maintaining complex investment or valuation models.

Commercial Acumen & Decision Support Strong ability to analyse financial data assess risk and provide clear recommendations to support executive and Board-level decision-making.

Stakeholder Influence & Communication Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and prepare high-quality reports business cases and presentations.

Regulatory & Funding Awareness Understanding of financing agreements covenants and compliance frameworks ideally including experience with large syndicated facilities.

Resilience & Delivery Focus Strong bias to action with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced delivery-focused environment.

Desirable Experience Exposure to infrastructure financing debt raising hedging strategies and/or familiarity with tax accounting and regulatory considerations in large-scale projects.
