ACCHOs deliver comprehensive primary health care to more than half of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples nationally.
About the Role
The Project Officer Medical Advisor Team supports the planning and delivery of programs led by NACCHOs Medical Advisor Team including the MyMedicare program. The role provides project management coordination and secretariat support across the policy and program lifecycle contributing to evidencebased advice that supports Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations.
Responsibilities of this role but not limited to:
- Contribute to the management and delivery of sector contracts for services including assisting to develop requests for quotes and agreements;manage funding agreements and associated reporting on project outcomes.
- Prepare project reports discussion papers and briefs.
- Assist with the coordination secretariat and reporting tasks for internal and external meetings.
About You
To succeed in this role you will bring:
- Experience providing practical project support including tracking progress and preparing reports.
- Experience supporting meetings and coordination activities such as scheduling agendas minutes and stakeholder liaison.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel for everyday coordination and reporting.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration (ACT).
