I am headhunting for a Telco-experienced Software Architect for a 400-person European company with a major office in Dublin.
The Architect is a senior role that will be responsible for researching and designing technical solutions that address the product
requirements collaborating closely with Technical Product Managers and the Engineering Feature team and with stakeholders in Product Management Professional Services TIU and Pre-sales.
The role will have responsibility for defining call flows data flows deployment architecture network integrations performance and scalability decisions.
Theidealcandidatewouldhave:
- Knowledge of telecoms networks signaling protocols networking and messaging (it would be helpful for candidates to have knowlege of the likes of SS7 Diameter Radius SIP etc)
- Security: Experience in cyber security signaling security and messaging security (although packet core network / PCRF / EPC / Charging experience would be enough
- Demonstratedexperienceinsystemsarchitectureandsystemsintegrationpreferablyinatelecomsenvironment.
- Infrastructure:Experiencedworkingwithon-premiseinfrastructureandpubliccloudenvironmentsincludingcapacityplanninganddimensioning
- Softwaredevelopment:Experienceworkinginasoftwareengineeringenvironmentwithagileprocesses
- Candidate can be already in this role or possibly on the integration/deployment/solutions side with development experience and looking for a pivot into full engineering architecture
The package is flexible given that they would like a senior person (please ignore salaries mentioned on the job board).
The person will need to be in the Dublin office 2 times a week.
There is a strong preference to find someone in Dublin or an EU passport holder who is prepared to move to Dublin although they will consider relocation for candidates by sponsoring an initial 2-year work permit.
