Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a detail-oriented proactive and safety-driven EHS Coordinator to support and execute environmental health and safety initiatives across our North American operations.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about promoting a safety-first culture ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement. You bring strong organizational skills the ability to influence safe behaviors and a disciplined approach to inspections training and incident prevention.
You will play a critical role in maintaining a safe compliant and incident-free workplace while partnering across multiple facilities to support EHS programs and initiatives.

Position Overview
The EHS Coordinator supports the companys safety mission by helping ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all employees customers and contractors.
This role is responsible for supporting EHS programs ensuring regulatory compliance conducting training and inspections and driving continuous improvement initiatives across facilities.
Key Responsibilities
EHS Program Support & Compliance
- Support implementation and maintenance of EHS programs across multiple sites
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable federal state and local regulations
- Maintain OSHA logs (300/300A) and compliance documentation
- Support regulatory reporting and audit readiness
Training & Safety Culture
- Develop and execute monthly safety training plans
- Conduct new hire safety orientation and toolbox talks
- Deliver compliance training (PIT certification respirator fit testing etc.)
- Promote and reinforce a proactive safety-first culture
Inspections Audits & Risk Management
- Conduct daily walkarounds and monthly facility inspections
- Perform hazard assessments ergonomic evaluations and PPE compliance checks
- Lead or support internal audits and corrective action tracking
- Ensure SDS management and workplace safety documentation is current
Incident Management & Continuous Improvement
- Lead or support incident investigations (injuries near misses property damage)
- Conduct root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Track analyze and report EHS metrics and trends
- Recommend and implement process improvements
Emergency Preparedness & Cross-Functional Support
- Support emergency response programs drills and evacuation planning
- Coordinate fire drills and safety committee activities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Monitor contractor safety compliance
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelors degree in EHS Occupational Safety Industrial Hygiene Engineering or related field (preferred)
- 13 years of EHS experience in manufacturing warehouse or industrial environments
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems
- Experience delivering safety training and conducting workplace inspections
- Familiarity with incident investigation and hazard assessments
