As a Security Officer Daytime Patrol in Shreveport LA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will conduct routine patrols stay visible to help deter security-related incidents and support daily operations through outstanding customer service and this role you will bring an agile reliable and innovative approach while working with integrity and teamwork in a people-first culture.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures access activities and emergency response actions appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and unusual conditions in a calm problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns hazards and policy violations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings operational areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points check credentials and/or visitor information and support compliance with site rules for restricted and controlled areas.
• Document daily activities incidents and observations in required reports and communicate with supervisors site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
