Job Title: PANEL OPERATOR
Department: GROUND BEEF
General Description:
JBS Grand Island is seeking a panel operator for our ground beef department. This position consists of providing administrative and clerical support to the fabrication operations management team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited:
- Set up the grinders before the workday begins.
- Assist in setting up other equipment.
- Responsible for filling out the ground beef blender sheet.
- Responsible for the correct lean points.
- Responsible for proper CO2 application to all blends/acceptable temperature.
- Responsible for relaying product codes to the K-pack operator.
- Ensures that the product is mixed together correctly.
- Will perform task by monitoring the computerized panel.
- Monitors product going into accupumps sand K-PACK machine.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong written and communications skills
- Ability to adapt to new environments and situations
- Hours of this position vary as dictated by production additional overtime and weekends as needed
