The Security Officer willbe responsible formaintaininga safe and secure environment for residents employees customers and visitors. The position is an evening shift and possible weekends.Foot patrol of the premisesmonitorsurveillance equipment and respond to security incidents. The officer will alsobe responsible forenforcing the housing leasepoliciesand procedures.
Responsibilities:
Foot patrol of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors windows and gates.
Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms and respond to any security incidents that may occur.
Enforce tenant lease policies and procedures
Prepare electronic reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage theft presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.
Provide assistance tocustomers employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Perform otherduties asassigned by management.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have computer skills and experience with electronic files
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure.
Previoussecurity experience preferred.
