Were seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to help shape and deliver our product strategy across key categories and major reseller channels. Based at our site in Glendenning (flexible working available) and reporting to the Head of Products & Marketing this role owns endto end product management from category strategy and range architecture through to newproduct development commercialisation and lifecycle governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead category strategy and product direction using market competitor and trend insightsto inform decisions
- Own range architecture and assortment design optimising mix value tiers and channelfit
- Drive new product development (NPD) from ideation through to launch using structuredgovernance processes
- Sourcing new products and ensuring the commercial viability of existing range through strategic sourcing relationships with international factories
- Build deep customer shopper and market insight to guide range and investment decisions
- Manage the full product lifecycle ensuring accurate product data documentation anddisciplined decisionmaking
- Develop commercial business cases and support profitable growth through range optimisation
- Plan and deliver gotomarket launches including sales tools training andinternal communications
- Oversee quality compliance and risk management working closely with Supply Chain and Operations
- Design and deliver product training to build capability across the business
- Operate as a senior Leader as a part of the business Senior Leadership team (SLT)
Skills/Experience
- 5 years experience in a Senior Product Manager or Category Manager role
- Strong capability in range architecture NPD and lifecycle management
- Experience working with plastics products in Landscape Hardware or Trade (desirable not essential)
- Experience working with major retail or reseller channels (e.g. hardware ruralindustrial or similar)
- High commercial acumen with the ability to build and evaluate business cases
- Confidence working crossfunctionally and with offshore suppliers
- Strong attention to detail across product data compliance and quality
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels
