Pay :
HK$60488 to HK$88333 (HGPS Pt 25 to Pt
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Take charge of the technological aspects of a diagnostic imaging room and of nuclear medicine procedures.
2. Perform diagnostic imaging examinations nuclear medicine procedures and related administrative duties.
3. Handle radioactive substances prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with good radiopharmacy practices and perform related laboratory procedures.
4. Perform quality control procedures on nuclear medicine equipment and instruments.
5. Supervise Radiographer II and supporting staff and teach radiography students.
6. Perform other professional and administrative duties assigned by supervisor or department head.
Entry Requirements:
1. A degree in Radiography from a local university or equivalent; and

2. Be a registered Part I (full registration) Radiographer (Diagnostic) and have a valid Practicing Certificate under the Allied Health Professions Ordinance; and
3. 3 years experience as a Radiographer (see Remarks 2); and
4. Acquired adequate / relevant experience in respective special imaging modalities.
Preferred Attributes / Exposure:
1. Enrolled in a postgraduate professional specialty training (e.g. Master Degree HA Advanced Specialty Program or equivalent). (see Remarks 2)

2. Contribution to professional development including research teaching and training.
3. Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese.
4. Completion of Training and Development Program for Newly Recruited Allied Health Professionals.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Empathy.
7. Commitment to patient care.
8. Leadership.
