Position Summary

Core Responsibilities

• Process Transactions: Handle deposits withdrawals transfers loan payments cash advances and check cashing. Issue money orders cashiers checks savings bonds and travelers checks.
• Cash Management: Count and package currency; reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift. Monitor ATM deposits/withdrawals (where applicable).
• Customer Service: Greet customers answer inquiries resolve issues professionally and maintain confidentiality. Assist customers with opening/closing accounts ordering checks or debit cards and navigating digital banking.
• Sales & Referrals: Identify and discuss customer needs; cross-sell bank products like checking savings credit cards and loans. Refer clients to specialized services when appropriate.
• Security & Compliance: Verify customer identities and detect counterfeit currency or potential fraud. Adhere to internal controls bank policies and federal regulations (e.g. CTRs Reg CC confidentiality robbery protocols).
• Cash Inventory & Supplies: Maintain adequate supplies and ensure proper handling of documents ticket capture and reordering.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with banking software ATMs and digital platforms.
