Lead a highperforming recoveries function where your expertise drives capability client outcomes and operational excellence.
We are seeking an experienced Recoveries Manager to lead a fastpaced collections operation across a key portfolio. This is a handson leadership role where you will balance commercial performance strong client partnerships and an engaged compliant highcapability team.
Youll take ownership of daytoday operational delivery while shaping the broader recoveries strategy. Working closely with senior stakeholders peers and specialist teams you will influence how we deliver results ensuring we consistently exceed client expectations while operating to the highest ethical and regulatory standards.
This role offers real autonomy to design recommend and implement initiatives that lift performance strengthen governance and improve customer and client outcomes.
What Youll Be Responsible For
- Operational performance & delivery Lead endtoend recoveries operations managing workflows resources and priorities to achieve monthly targets and sustainable revenue outcomes. Analyse performance data to identify trends risks and opportunities using insights to optimise recovery strategies and minimise losses. Drive operational efficiency through continuous improvement of systems processes and controls.
- Client & stakeholder partnerships Own key client relationships delivering clear performance updates through governance forums and regular reporting.
- Develop and present endofmonth quarterly and annual reporting that demonstrates performance insights and improvement actions. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
- People leadership & culture Lead coach and develop Team Leaders and Assistant Team Leaders to build a highperforming resultsdriven team. Support recruitment onboarding performance management and capability uplift initiatives. Foster a positive professional and accountable culture aligned to organisational values.
- Compliance quality & risk Ensure strict adherence to legislative requirements regulatory guidelines and internal policies across all recovery activities. Oversee complaint management escalations and breach handling with a customercentric riskaware approach. Partner closely with Compliance and Quality teams and participate in internal and external audits.
What You will Bring
- Proven leadership experience across front middle and backend receivables with deep knowledge of recovery strategies tools and ageddebt management.
- Strong understanding of consumer law regulatory frameworks and compliance obligations within collections.
- Advanced analytical and numeracy skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and translate insights into action.
- A demonstrated track record of leading teams to exceed KPIs and deliver strong commercial outcomes.
- Excellent communication coaching and relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- High resilience strong timemanagement skills and the confidence to make sound decisions in a fastpaced environment.
- Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office and recovery systems.
