Street Sweeper Operator

We are seeking a Street Sweeper Operator to join our Street Care team contributing directly to the cleanliness safety and presentation of our streets and public spaces.

This is a Permanent Full-Time position.

About theRole

You will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of street sweeping plant and equipment along with a range of civil maintenance and labouring duties.

Youll play an important role in:

• Operate maintaining and caring for street sweeping plant and associated equipment.
• Carry out general operation duties within Parks and Gardens Street Care.
• Ensure worksites are clean safe and compliant with WHS requirements.
• Undertake traffic management duties where required.
• Complete daily documentation and accurately record work in Council systems.

About You

You bring energy initiative and a positive cando attitude to every shift. Youre reliable flexible and adaptable able to respond to changing priorities and help wherever needed. Youre practical and solutionsfocused work well both independently and in a team and always act professionally when representing the organisation in the community.

Youll bring:

• MR Drivers Licence.
• Work Zone Traffic Management Licence.
• Construction Industry White Card.
• Completion of compulsory secondary education.
• Ability to maintain required licences and competencies
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role is desirable.

This is a Grade 3 position which has a current salary of $88018 per annum (plus Super).
