Our Ecosystems and Threatened Species team is currently seeking to appoint a Team Leader Ecosystems and Threatened Species (EaTS). In this role you will lead the development and execution of programs and projects that drive diverse and strategic environmental policy initiatives across NSW ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks stakeholder priorities and sustainability objectives.
About You
To be successful you will bring strong program and project leadership experience in environmental or ecological settings with the ability to operate confidently in complex politically and community-sensitive environments. You will demonstrate sound judgement initiative and resilience and be able to build productive partnerships with diverse stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential including the ability to translate technical information into clear advice and produce high-quality briefs and reports within tight timeframes.
Key knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated project/program management skills and experience along with strong organisational skills to plan manage and deliver multiple projects on time and within resources
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of financial governance and risk management standards and practices associated with project management.
Essential requirements
- A degree in a relevant ecological or environmental science discipline.
- A valid drivers licence.
